Art in Progress is a non-profit organisation on culture; it was founded on 17 July 2011 at Patras Court and operates in Patras.
Art in Progress focuses on the design, development and implementation of artistic, cultural, environmental and educational events with the main objective of bringing the contemporary Greek and international artistic creation to the citizens of Patras as well as the establishment of appropriate conditions for the city’s cultural progress.
Through national and international partnerships, the trust in civil society, the participation and activation of active citizens, Art in Progress has manage to create the most important contemporary art exhibitions in Patras, to organize more than 150 innovative educational programs, seminars and artistic education structures as looks for the wider economic, environmental, social and cultural development of the city. An integral part of its mission is the development of initiatives aiming at the cultural education of children, the participation of young people and the whole society, as well as it works with particular sensitivity on the integration of socially vulnerable groups.
