O Papadiamantis hosted socially vulnerable groups.
A different cultural activity moved those found in the Archaeological Museum of Patras on the initiative of the Art in Progress within the art exhibition dedicated to Alexander Papadiamantis.

This organized visit of the special elementary school and high school as well as 17 people from the “Lighthouse for the Blind” Athens visually impaired. Along with their companions they came to tour and work on the occasion of Papadiamantis report.

The action began with a tour of the visually impaired in the Archaeological Museum and continued with briefing and tour of the art exhibition by volunteer of Art in Progress. Then the blind were able to palpate the works thus brightening the image in their own world.
In a special training program, organized by the “Lighthouse for the Blind” and Art in Progress in the museum auditorium, able to express in a unique way what people felt or experienced through touch and narrative in their tour of the exhibition.
Works from this training program exposed in the hall next to the works of artists inspired by the end of the report.
